Arendsig Single Vineyard Shiraz Block: A12 2016

Calcareous, loam, Karoo shale

Macro climate is Mediterranean. Meso-climate is influenced by everyday South Easter during summer and morning fog in winter with big variations in day/night temperatures.

: Between Langeberg and Riviersonderend Mountain range, West facing slope above the banks of the Breede River, South in the Robertson Wine Valley, Wakkerstroom Wes, R317, Arendsig Farm

Scent of leather, spice, ripe cherries, Tobacco
Big structure, lingering round tannin, loads of fruit
10 Months Foudre Cask followed by 3 months in neutral, 225L barrels
